We went to Restaurante Mozart on a recommendation and have to say it really delivered!We were seated on a table set in the ‘street of the painted doors’ (Rua de Santa Maria) and were able to watch the evenings going on - great hustle and bustle with banter between the numerous restaurants around. Our waiter quickly brought out 2 digestifs on the house to assist us in choosing from the extensive menu and we quickly made our choices. Scallops for starters and Beef Wellington and Fillet Steak with Foie Gras for mains (or should I say Salieri to start with Wagner and Stravinsky to follow as all the choices were named after famous composers). The courses came in a very timely manner (not rushed ….. but also not waiting too long especially between courses) so the meal was wonderfully paced. We had a couple more glasses of wine with our meals which I have to say were very attractively presented as well as tasty. We were too full for desserts but the choices looked very appealing if we had of been able.On getting the bill we were stunned to find it was only €64 in total as they had a 30% discount offer on the food at the time. We did see from their website that they do a variety of other permanent offers as well. So in short - fantastic tasty meal with great service at an amazing price. Would definitely go back again even without the discount!!!

Great experience visiting the Restaturant. Lovely food which were well composed (Had the Concept package) and good Wine. Service was excellent. Price very fair with and all inclusive for 49 euro Per person.

only good things to report. They created table for two outside for us where we could both enjoy the fresh air and the Seaview even though it was at night but also be able to listen to the violin music being played indoors.. I had the €49 package which meant all food and drink included and it was very good value. The lamb cutlets were cooked to perfection. The service was very efficient and always friendly too. I would recommend this for a visit.

We always enjoy eating at Mozart and this visit was as enjoyable as ever. We were pleased to be greeted by Simon who treated us as long lost friends. The food and wine were wonderful. The service took a little longer than usual due to two members of staff not turning up but the remaining staff did a brilliant job all in good humour. Sadly no entertainment this time but a lovely evening enjoyed by all four of our family.

A welcome return to Mozart restaurant after 6 years on our second holiday to Madeira. Still a bit wacky remains very friendly with excellent service and a very good varied menu. For 49euros esch we were able to enjoy three delicious courses with a glass of cava house wine throughout the meal and a glass of Madeira at the end. The prawn and smiled salmon starter and the scallop starter particularly good. An excellent venue for our last night in Madeira

The whole experience was excellent. Great friendly service good food and live music to add to the atmosphere. We choose the option of a car pick up and take home to the hotel. Very good service at great value. Would highly recommend this restaurant

A lovely intimate restaurant where the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good and the wine was exceptional and I would definitely visit again. Unfortunately having been prompted by this review I looked at the bill and the 30% discount was not applied to the food which is a little annoying.
